Highway 3, East from the Crowsnest Pass

South (RT) on Hwy #507 south for 14 km. Proceed through hamlet of Beaver Mines on Highway #774 South, towards Castle Mountain Ski Resort (don't take turn off to Pincher Creek)
Proceed on #774 about 6 km  from the Beaver Mines General Store
Turn Left on Buckhorn Road (sign post on right- No Thru road sign in left ditch).  Gravel county road
Saddle Mountain Ranch turn off is the 2nd right entrance (SMR sign, flag, & round pen with hay left of the cattle guard).  Blue sign at entrance #5414
If you miss the Buckhorn Road turnoff, you will go up a big hill and cross a cattleguard into the Forest Reserve.  Just come back down hill and turn right at the bottom.

Highway 3,  West from Highway #22 South (Calgary)

Proceed west on Hwy #3 to turnoff for Hwy #507 South – approximately 7 km
South on #507 for 14 km.  Proceed through hamlet of Beaver Mines on Hwy #774 South, towards Castle Mountain Ski Resort  ( do not take turn off to Pincher Creek #507)
Proceed south on #774 for approximately 6 km – turn left on the Buckhorn Road
Saddle Mountain Ranch turn off is the 2nd right entrance ( SMR sign and flag & round pen with hay left of the cattle guard).  Blue sign at entrance #5414

Highway 2, South from Calgary

Take Hwy #2 south from Calgary towards Fort Macleod
Then take Hwy #3 West turnoff
Shortcut – you can take Hwy #533 West from Nanton and connect with Hwy 22 South (see above directions for Hwy #22 south connecting with Hwy #3)

Highway 3, West from Lethbridge / Fort Macleod

Proceed West on Hwy #3 until Pincher Creek turnoff
Take Hwy #6 south to Pincher Creek
Turn right – West – on Hwy #507 at the Shell Service Station just as you come in to P.C.


Highway 507 – heading West from Pincher Creek:

Head West from Pincher Creek on Hwy 507 – by Shell Service Station and Co-op Mall
Stay on #507 until you get to the Hwy 774 junction – turn left into Beaver Mines at the stop

Proceed south on #774 about 6 km from the Beaver Mines General Store
Turn left on the Buckhorn Road (sign post on the right hand side in ditch – No Thru Road sign in left hand ditch) – it is a gravel county road
